Data published by international research group “ATLANTIC” showed that:

  • during off-pump coronary artery BYPASS grafting (OPCAB) 17% of EMERGENCY applications of heart-lung machine were due to NOT SEEN cardiac ischemia. 
  • in this group MORTALITY is up to 16-times higher than in rest of the patients.
